Characteristic

Airport Express Hong Kong Station is located right at the heart of the Central District on Hong Kong Island. Above the station is the International Finance Centre Mall. It is connected to MTR Central Station and footbridges to major shopping arcades in Central. The station ground floor is the concourse where the in-town check-in counters for flight passengers are located. Down the escalators are the train platforms. The station has a modern and practical interior design. A 4-colour, 3-dimensional hanging art object is displayed on each of the two sides of the concourse, projecting a harmonious sense of stillness that balances with the busy going-ons at the station. Lining the front of the station, where the main entrance is located, are glass curtain walls. Beyond the main entrance is an open area of roads, vehicle stopping points and parking lots.

How to Apply

Contact Assistant Marketing Officer to discuss the filming details and application form with storyboard/ synopsis of the film, description of the scenes and an application fee of $10,000 (please see remark (2) below).

Processing time : 4 weeks. Applications with inadequate filming details may result in longer processing time and the filming date to be postponed.

PLI cover

Applicants shall effect a public liability insurance in the sum of $30 million in the joint names of the MTR Corporation Limited and the company.

Remarks

The fees are subject to the decision of the MTR Corporation Limited.
The application fee will be deducted from the total payable amount if an application is approved. The application fee will be refundable if an application is disapproved.
Subject to the operational constraints, the MTR Corporation Limited has the right to reject the booking. To avoid delay, applicants are advised to submit an application with full details of the shooting and 4 weeks in advance for filming, especially for train arrangements.
Trains, concourses, platforms of MTR premises are available for hiring after midnight. For Light Rail, day time shooting during non-peak hours is possible. Please contact Assistant Marketing Officer for details.
